Tools and guides · Share an HTML file

Share an HTML file as a link you control.

Drop your file here and HTMLRadar hosts it. Readers give their e-mail to open it, and you see which part each one read. Name the people you choose, add a code, and only they get in.

What each way of sharing an HTML file gives you.

Public page? Free host. Proposal, report or deck for particular people? A link you can lock, switch off, and see how it was read.

Choose who can open your file.

Give each person their own link, and see who read the pricing section and for how long.

Step by step

On the document page, select “New link”. Under “Who can open it?” choose “Only people I list” and enter the reader’s address in “People and companies”. Under “How readers prove their address”, choose “Enter their e-mail and confirm it with a code”, then select “Create link” and send it to that reader.

A code confirms access to that inbox. Without it, an entered address is not verified. A link name helps you recognise the link; it does not prove who opened it.

For a password instead, follow the HTML report password guide. You can also update the same link after sending it.

Common questions

Still have a question? hello@htmlradar.com

Back to the tool

How do I share an HTML file as a link?

Drop it here and sign in. HTMLRadar hosts it behind a tracked link you send by e-mail or chat.

How do I turn an HTML file into a URL?

A host gives the file an address. Drop the file here and the address you get back is a link on htmlradar.page.

Where can I host an HTML file for free?

HTMLRadar hosts it behind a tracked link, and the first two links are free. Each link can take a password, a verified e-mail address or an expiry date.

Can I put a password on a shared HTML file?

Yes. Each link can take a password, ask for an e-mail address and a one-time code, or expire on a date you choose. Switch it off and it stops opening at once.

Does the reader need an account?

No. Any browser, nothing to install. If you set a password or e-mail gate, they enter that first.

What happens to the images in my file?

Embedded images and images at public web addresses show. Images on your own computer, such as images/logo.png, do not; embed them first. Keep the file under 30 MB.

How do I track an HTML deck?

Upload the file or paste the link to a page you host, and you get a tracked link to the same deck. You see who opened it, which sections they read, active time and scroll depth. There is no code to add: HTMLRadar adds its own when it serves the page, and your file stays untouched.

Is it free?

Two tracked links are free, with no card. Unlimited links cost $19 a month or $190 a year.
